The Parachute Monday Market is a farm-to-market produce stand that will be coming to Parachute, CO every Monday evening July 8th – August 29th (now extended to 8 weeks). Brought to you by the Town of Parachute, the Monday Market will bring a variety of locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables to Beasley Park on 1st Street, making it easy to find quality fresh produce all summer long. Join us on 1st Street every Monday beginning at 5 p.m. and stock up on a variety of produce, grown and sourced from nearby farms through Early Morning Orchards in Palisade, CO. Proceeds will be donated to the school-based Family Resource Center.
The Monday Market will also feature fresh recipe samples and educational nutrition lessons every other week by Garfield County Public Health and the Cooking Matters program. Participants will learn new recipes with fresh and healthy produce, and they will receive a $10 gift card and reusable bag.
